Dogs like to play this game we (dog keepers) commonly call “keep away”. This game involves 2 or more dogs, and some random inanimate object that usually isn’t food. They all chase it, and whoever gets it first runs away with it while all the others give chase. This keeps going till either one of the chasers manages to steal it, or they all get bored.
None of the dogs need the item. It serves no purpose other than as some device with which an individual dog’s status is momentarily raised to “the chased”. Usually they all eventually get bored with it and it ends up laying somewhere passed up for some other object or game.
It crossed my mind the other day that humans play the exact same game with money/toys/wealth. We spend all our time working to get these things, we don’t need any of them to survive, we spend an inordinate amount of time chasing after them, we usually get bored with them in the end, and we can’t take any of them with us anyways.

thats a deep analysis to human nature.
but sometimes we use the chase game to reach things that enlights our lives like music (I play Piano) , sience and art these things we actually dont take with us too but they will introduce us to the next generation of chasers…..
thanks
