Got hacked recently as I was a bit behind the curve on security upgrades. pooches.drumgit.com also got hacked too.
It became screamingly obvious when I looked at my site and all the Google adsense had changed from ads about Los Angeles, drums/drumming, etc. to everything you needed to know about drugs and where to buy them! Pics of the offending changes here.
After a complete upgraded to Wordpress base packages, themes, plugins, etc. I noticed the site is still showing ads about drugs. I suspect but don’t know, that it’ll take a bit of time for google to switch context on the ads.
Matts Cutts of Google wrote a post discussing how Google could best notify folks when their sites are hacked. I chimed in with this comment.
