Went to what I’ve heard accurately described as one big blind date hosted by @gregbarnett and @demca at the TweetUPLA (@tweetupla) party on Saturday at the Rock’n Motion Image Design studios. A meeting of mostly tech minded folks who have in common an addiction to the Twitter phenomenon blazing through many different social circles and connecting people who’d probably never ever meet otherwise.
Not entirely unlike getting a dog, going to the dog park and meeting random people you’d never have a hope in hell of crossing paths with.. with a slightly less chance of being bitten.

I met many awesome folks, heard some amazing stories, experienced my first chocolate fountain (hint for the men: the women went nuts over it, get one for your next party!), enjoyed the free bar (made sure I passed the test with the in-house breathalyzer before driving!), …
