At one point I noticed I wasn't focusing on the road as much as I could, and this post/vent came to mind, so I snapped out of the fog and kept my eyes peeled. Less than 10 seconds later, there's a guy in the lane to my right but just in front of me, swerves violently into my lane to avoid an SUV in the lane to his right, which decided to pull into his lane *where he was* without looking first. If I had been 6-8 feet further on my lane I'd have been taken out and it was so quick I wouldn't have been able to avoid it at all. Luckily I was just out of the line of fire. I've been in the US for about 7 years and suffered two nonsensical acts of vandalism on my cars. My second hand cars aren't even worth looking at, yet someone jumped on my Honda's roof (caving it in), and smashed the rear brake light on my Dodge Neon.
