Work in progress to finally actually really for real make a decent web site. Some ideas I’m playing around with include being able to ..
- blog/rant
- post photos (most likely integrating with Gallery2)
- publish music
- publish usable audio loops, mostly percussion
- podcast (video and audio)
- provide RSS feeds of all the above
- publish via iTunes store
- etc.
What’s left to do/test ..
- Integrate WordPress with Gallery2. To do this I need to upgrade my existing Gallery1 photo album. Scarey. (DONE!)
Follow up: Gallery2 integration is all broken. When you click on the thumbs on the blog front it embeds the whole Gallery into wordpress instead of jumping to the pic proper. This is nasty, and I need to fix that. I recommend browsing via the ‘photos’ link in the right column for now. - Produce audio content. I’ve been experimenting with various DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) at home, with my mic setup, recording my drumming, etc. so I’m at the stage where I can record, mix, and create audio. Can’t speak as to the quality of it yet, that’ll be up to the readers/listeners. There I go assuming someone will be interested in this.
